What is Memergy?
The name "Memergy" was created in the Fall of 2000, by Daniel M. Clark. The word "Memergy" is memory and energy combined. The name has its meaning from the perspective that all thoughts are energy and carry a certain type of vibration. Every thought carries an emotion, and every emotion carries an energetic physical response. Memories are thoughts whose meanings are based on information that is received through the senses and stored in our subconscious mind. The subconscious contains a vast amount of memory and programmed functioning that regulates how we think, what we think, how we act, how we feel, and what we feel. It also is responsible for the regulation of certain bodily functions such as: your heart beat and chemical actions within the body, to name a few. "Memergy" is not a new theory but rather a creative name that better describes the hypnotic process and its incredible results.
People have memories and thoughts that govern the way they think, the way they act, and the way they feel - every day. We see this especially in many negative situations where people get depressed, sad, angry, upset, and eventually, in some cases, completely stressed out or worse. These situations are negative because of the persons response to the situation. The persons response will be energetically positive or negative. The energy is what fuels the response. If someone loses a job, they may get angry, depressed, or maybe feel guilty and develop an insecurity as a direct result of how they responded to their losing the job. In this example, a persons response to the situation, whether it is positive or negative - will be manifest in their behavior somehow. Some people may choose to repress or not show their true feelings about a situation. They may say that it doesn't bother them, but most of the time it does and it will be evident in their actions. The phrase often stated in Mind/Body theories is - "What the Mind represses, the Body Expresses."
This is where Hypnosis and the idea behind the name "Memergy" comes in. Hypnosis deals with the subconscious mind. In the same way a computer has a hard drive that stores information, the subconscious is also the hard drive that stores memories for our thinking and functioning. The Hypnotherapist helps the client to identify irrational thinking and irrational behaviors and uses hypnosis to reprogram the subconscious mind. With "Memergy", as in hypnosis, the emphasis is on implanting positive suggestions that create positive results with new behavior patterns for the client. The positive and powerful memories can either be already present within the person and just clouded by different stressors or the memories can be programmed in through the use of post-hypnotic suggestion. Post-hypnotic suggestion is a created memory and a new source of energy that has a specific higher purpose for the mind and body. By creating more positive energy in the client's life and empowering them to feel better about themselves, they ultimately are more capable at living productively in the Present.
The Goal of "MEMERGY HYPNOSIS" is "Powerful Results From Powerful Memories."
